Privacy
Tinhoard has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Your collection
Your collection (photos, values, notes, shelves, wishlist) is stored on your devices and synced only through your own private iCloud.
Photo ID (optional, asks your permission first)
Only the 1 or 2 photos you choose are sent over HTTPS to our server, which forwards them to Anthropic, a company that runs the image recognition model, to name the piece and suggest a rough range. The photos are not stored by our server, and Anthropic does not use them to train its models under its commercial terms.
Daily limit
To count the daily limit, the app sends a random device ID kept in the iPhone Keychain. The server keeps only the ID and a counter per day, and deletes rows after 2 days.
Pro purchases
Pro purchases are handled by Apple. The server checks the signed App Store transaction to allow the Pro limit and does not keep it.
Your choices
You can turn Photo ID off in Settings and still add pieces by hand. Deleting a piece removes it and its photos from all your devices.
Children
Tinhoard is not directed to children under 13.
